Rear coilovers
Has anyone tried any of the “kits” on the market? Not sure if I want to go that way or stay with lowering springs that I have...

Re: Rear coilovers
I already have one prototype on my bench, but being I just broke my femur and wrist couple weeks ago, my schedule is kinda shot. I saw what was out there, didn’t make me feel so warm and fuzzy, have built several for Abody chevelles in the past so the process is not new to me. If one of the vendors had something that I felt good with that someone had hands on experience with , I may be interested, if not, I will just bide my time and continue on my own design.
One design I saw was basically a single shear+ as it had a strap bolted to the bracket then with the shock mount bolt through it also....lot of pressure on that point at times....that being said, I don’t need to copy anyone, very capable of building my own and feeling safe about it, right now time is not on my side..... |

Re: Rear coilovers
It is not my intention to run down any of the companies that advertise or sponsor on here, if anyone had used any of these I am sure they would divulge the source of what they did or did not care for, with that being said I think I will withdraw my question, I feel more comfortable with my own design, it will make life easier in the long run and not hurt any feelings....
