55-57 Cameo rear bumper

I have been using a fiberglass one piece bumper on my cameo since I started driving it because it is the only thing I could find that would fit. The center sections are not available and chrome bumper ends were on backorder. I have since scored on a beautiful set of chrome ends and thought I could get a metal fab shop to bend the center section using 16 or 18 gauge steel. Not happening. Does anyone know of some bumper made for another vehicle that would have a similar bend to match the ends I have. I was told years ago that there was, but that source is no longer with us. Not worried about chrome, just so the end matches the curve, I can cut and weld for the license plate etc. Any help would be appreciated. Tbrown

Re: 55-57 Cameo rear bumper

So why don't you check with 58cameoAZ above and see what kind of cash we are talking for his whole three piece set and since you wouldn't need them, maybe I could buy the bumper ends and you and I basically split the price he wants for all of it. I technically only need a driver bumper end but depending on what he wants I would maybe help ease your cost vs you buying all of it and having to sell off the ends

Re: 55-57 Cameo rear bumper

Lets Back up here, I have the Center (Drop Down Piece that the License Plate bolts to and drops down for Spare tire) on top of that i have the other two sides that the bumperettes bolt to this makes up the complete bumper -Minus The Chrome Bumper
Ends and the Bumperettes I also have with this the Four pieces of Bumper Brackets that Bolt to the frame and the 3-Pc Bumper bolts to it.
Sorry for any Confusion i may have caused

Allen

Ok, Confession, I do have an Extra Set of the Chrome Bumper ends, BUT, Man, i am not sure if i can Let them go, They would need to be re-chromed.
PM me GMCNUT and maybe we can discuss?
