Blazer top question
Ive finished restoring my double wall top and have sat it back on with bolts hand tight and the door glass is 3/4" short of reaching the doors seals that are glued to the top. any thought. I also replaced my doors w nice rust free factory truck doors that I cut the top rail off of to work. They appear exact as my original doors. Thx for any input.

Re: Blazer top question
Can you post photos of the open door with the window up that shows where the cut was made at the top adjoining the vent window? Another of the door closed with window up that shows the top gap might help too.

Re: Blazer top question
well i took it off and went back at it. I'm a lot closer now but still not right. In my head its the thicker rubber seal that at the top of the vent window, top, windshield frame intersection thats pushing it up too much. I think I'm on on the right track here but any thoughts are appreciated.

Re: Blazer top question
Is it at all possible that the seal is flipped and that end should be at the bed rail? I don't see any room to accommodate the missing drip rail deflector as shown here: https://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vbo...&postcount=301

Re: Blazer top question
Hard to tell from your photo, looks like top needs to come forward 1/2"...and is not seated completely....your top of door seal looks like it is installed wrong way around. Mine has the S bend at the door latch side.....Mine could be wrong need to look at it closer.

Re: Blazer top question
Mine Looks about the same, space from top to windshield frame... With the rain diverter can't see the triangle block or the piece glued up to the top

Re: Blazer top question
Not a good photo of the bottom, need day light. Anybody know if there is supposed to be a core/ bridge piece going into the bottom rubber.

Re: Blazer top question
Sorry, no help on the weather strip issue, but what did you finish the top with?
I'm in the process of mine, and am thinking Raptor liner, or something similar.

Re: Blazer top question
There's a round plug shown on a factory diagram to cap the pillar to rear-of-door seal opening at the level of the bedrail. I think the Truck Shop of Orange, CA has a repro listed (other vendors may also). I added the plugs to a former Blazer and they fell out and got lost. I'd use some trim adhesive if I were to use these plugs again.

Re: Blazer top question
I'm a big fan of Raptor liner....I used the tintable version, clean, scrub, degrease...painted with white epoxy, then urethane caulk. I have mixed Raptor with more than 10 % urethane base coat, Depending on the texture you want, mine is about 1/2 the texture of original.
