I would trade the 67-68 Tach, Vac, Speed warning dash for a good T-400/NP205 transfer case combination... LOL If you don't post what you have, people don't know you have it... WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

I have a tach/speedwarning/vac and and putting an air pressure(either for rear bags or an air compressor) in place of the worthless and useless battery guage, cause we all know how good those things are. And I also second WES on the suburban rear air switch, got it.

If you`re really into going this far,good`67-`68 grille/core supports.I see people looking for these alot.We`ve covered it pretty well,but here`s a couple more.Big block motor brackets and P/S pumps.Good doors,tailgates, and fenders,better than repro.Suburban specifics like:doors(all),gate/hatch,rear 1/4s,gas tanks and A/C parts.Uncracked Blazer hatches and gas tanks.Also shift linkages,2&4wd.and,oh yeah,GMC grilles.Sorry you asked yet?Enjoy yourself.

I would have to agree the the speedwarning tach cluster is very difficult to find especially since I believe they only came in 67 and 68 trucks it took me a real long time to find one,I have looked at literally thousands of classic cars and trucks in salvage yards and at private homes. When I go junking I always look for the hard to find options,I have noticed that some options were dictated by terrain, weather, what kinda income people in the area make, case in point.. When I lived in the Northwest you would very seldom see a 67-72 with air, now since being in the midwest its unususal to see one without air.So now I wont even buy a vehicle that Im going to keep for myself if it doesnt have air conditioning. But the right on options on any vehicle will get it sold versus one without any. Take a look at the Barrett Jackson Auctions.that why people are willing to spend 600 for a set of power vent windows for a sixities gm car,or 400 for a power bucket seat track for a 64-72 gm muscle car.The real desirable options are not being reproduced, and we all want the options that are rare and that no on else have.

speed warning dash

I found my speedwarning tach vac dash in a florida u-pull it yard . it was in a 67 camper special and only showed 36,000 miles. Took it out and into office and he said 5 bucks. Thats the best bargain i ever got for one of these truck. Yard was just north of daytona.
