For the record, I don't recommend trying to hand paint the lines in your trim. Even if you tape it off, if it's hand painted, the paint will wick under the masking. If you spray it, it won't. I was recommending hand polishing of the body paint rather than machine polishing, hence "by hand" was mentioned. However, if you want to do it that way in order to involve your granddaughter in fixing up your truck, then maybe that eclipses other considerations. Having her help may be the most important thing. |

I just seen a "How to install the side trim" from LMC and the guy cut the stripping with a straight cutting tool ,, I see you can buy a slanted cutting tool to make a slanted cut.,, Question:: are the side rails that are put on from the factory cut slanted or straight?
