2008 gmc savana 2500 tcm pin diagram

not sure if this is the right forum or not but have a question. while reworking my harness i found a dark blue wire coming from pin 47 on the connector for the tcm that has been cut and goes nowhere i also have a dark blue wire from pin8 on the same connector that goes to the round plug that goes to the trans. the only pin diagram i found for the tcm connector states that neither of them pins are used. the diagram i found was on a gto forum so not sure if the gmc tcms where wired differently. where should the cut wire go or is it not needed? when i got the van the trans. was already removed. thanks

This link will take you to a Electrical Master publication for 2008 and up trucks and vans.

The pdf file is too large a download to post here.

Hope this helps

Re: 2008 gmc savana 2500 tcm pin diagram

aussie thanks for that info. but i couldnt find anything in that for a 2008 expess 2500 for a 4l80e. only thing i found was for a 4l60e. so i thought maybe its a 4l60 so i counted the wires going to the plug and there are 11 wires going into round plug and everything i have found online states thats all that go to a 4l80 and 13 go to the 4l60

Re: 2008 gmc savana 2500 tcm pin diagram

alldata doesnt even show pin 8 or 47 for a 2008 gmc 2500 savanna.... I'd double check application and terminal pin location

theres a pin 11 thats DK BLU and it goes to accessory voltage - 12v accessory and run only
and then pin 44 thats DK BLU and it goes to transmission pin location " R "

clint
