I do plan on driving my truck it will not be my daily driver, but she will see the highway during the summer months. To be honest I forgot about the tranny bolt pattern and the amount of pain and suffering I will have with that and that is why I don’t want to use the 455 rocket Oldsmobile motor I have I will save that one for something else. I do want to keep the manual transmission in the 68. I think I’m going to rebuild the 307 that is in it now the compression is good, but it does need some gaskets a timing set and a carb. I think I will spend the money I would put in the motor swap into the body and the rest of the running gear
