71 Stock Carb Linkage ?

I am planning on replacing a 2GV with a Quadajet on my 71 C/20, 307. Will the linkage swap over between the two original year cast iron manifolds ? Thanks !

No, the 1971-72 style 2 bbl accelerator cable, cable mounting bracket and return spring setup are entirely different, here are a few pics showing the 71-72 style 4 bbl q-jet throttle cable setup. If interested, we have some OE used 71-72 4 bbl carburetor mounting brackets and OE throttle return springs available in the below linked f/s thread. Let us know, Mel
