65 GMC grill bracket buster
I am trying to mount my grill with the brackets on my 1965 gmc truck (shown in pic) to my radiator support and the holes aren’t lining up. Does anyone know if there were different size brackets? Do these brackets look right? Need some help. Thank you, Angie

Re: 65 GMC grill bracket buster
I do not know if there were different brackets. I have this one from a 63 maybe.
Looks the same to me.

Re: 65 GMC grill bracket buster
Did that grille come off of that grille support panel? If not, that could be part of the problem. I'm not sure if the Chevy and GMC holes were drilled in different spots

Re: 65 GMC grill bracket buster
I think CW is correct. I just looked at a build of a GMC and that grille surround valence (?) does not look like what you have, so Chevy?

Re: 65 GMC grill bracket buster
I agree with the others. That painted radiator support looks like the one in my '64 Chevy.

Here’s a photo of a 65 GMC build. Looks like yours but more holes
