Steering Component
There is a long tube in front of my front axel that connects the driver and passenger steering. Mine is rather bent from a PO. It is on my 72 Blazer. Any idea what this is called or where to source a new one? If it was on a 73 Blazer it would be called an adjustable tube 4 wheel drive according to LMC. Any thoughts?

It's called the tie rod...as you said, it connects the steering knuckles together.

Are you sure it's called a tie rod? The tie rod descriptions are just the ends that I keep finding. Not the actual like 5 foot long shaft.

It is the tie rod. A diagram from LMC https://www.lmctruck.com/1967-72-che...-4-wheel-drive They only sell the tie rod ends, notice "tie rod ends". If those are the ends, the center is the tie rod. Look for used in parts forum. I have seen them new, just do not remember the manufacturer.
Quick search turned this up https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c...tie+rod&pos=11 Measured and the stock tie rod is 52"

It's a non-wearing part so you may have difficulty finding a use one. Square body trucks may use the same part which will may help you find one.

check with off-road design they have 3 different types to choose from. stock to super heavy duty.
