driveshaft question
I have a 1964 C10 that has had a new drive. 350 SBC with a 700R4 transmission.
The original drive 292 and SM420. The driveshaft is now to long. My question should I go one piece of have the 2 piece cut down. Probably cut over 10 inches |

Re: driveshaft question
The longer a one-piece is, the heavier-duty it needs to be. Maybe let cost decide?

Re: driveshaft question
I picked up one at the boneyard from an 81 shortbed GM truck, for my 64 with a SBC and 350TH, fit good.

Re: driveshaft question
I had my one piece on my 60 long bed cut down when I did my T-5 swap. You may want to measure the length you need and get one at the wrecking yard.
