60-66 Door Handles

Is there a difference side to side?

I was attempting to reinstall some handles today and it just wasn't quite a smooth install.

I had grabbed two various handles from parts trucks that were in better shape than my original handles.

On the off chance I have to order new handles, does anyone have any fitment issues with aftermarket handles?

Re: 60-66 Door Handles

I recently had a similar issue when I tried testing fitting some NOS door handles on the stock door control. It appears these handles wear to fit the original door control and I could not get the NOS handles to slide completely on. I already had an after market replacement door control for the drivers side since mine was very worn and the NOS handle fit perfect, whereas the worn out stock handle would not work.

Re: 60-66 Door Handles

I just replaced my door locks on my Blue 63 C10 and used handles from my 63 Red&White C10 bcuz they were in a little bit better shape and I had no problem using them from one 63 C10 on to the other 63 C10.
I just had Leon (Lock Doc) replace and repair and keyed all my locks and ignition to match, now one key for all four locks and finally after 8 year's I can lock both my door's.

Lock Doc does great work and very reasonable, Leon gets the job done in a few day's and sends all your Locks and Part's back to you with excellent packaging so none of your Part's or Locks will fallout on the way back to you.
And Leon replaced the "O-rings" on both my Door Locks as well.

Thank You Lock Doc (Leon) your a Master with Keys and Locks.
