C10 2 inch rear drop
I’d like to drop the back of my 68 C10 long bed so it sits level. What are the pros and cons of blocks vs coils?

Re: C10 2 inch rear drop
Blocks will lower your scrub line so you need to be aware of if you have a flat tire the trailing arm or shock mount might drag. Might not be an issue at all, but worth checking. Springs don’t bring that issue into play.

Re: C10 2 inch rear drop
with 15" wheels a 2" block will allow your u-bolts to drag if a tire goes flat. 1.5" is the max you should run if staying with 15" wheels

Re: C10 2 inch rear drop
JUst remember, you have50+ year springs on it now. 2" drop springs may not look like much since you already got the "time drop" built into you current ones.
