Auto column parts questions

Hello all! I have a few questions. Do any of the parts suppliers make the original type linkage and brackets for a 64 - 66 C10 with a factory auto on the column. I have the original column but I am missing all the other components. Secondly was the original powerglide a long or short tail-shaft?
Thanks

Re: Auto column parts questions

There's several different styles of linkage used from 63-66 so if you want exact , need to be more specific , it has to do with the frame bracket mainly but any 64-66 linkage will work. 67-70 PG linkage will work as well. The PowerGlide cross shaft is unique to that transmission so TH400 linkage is different. All powerglides of this era are short shaft .

Re: Auto column parts questions

Thanks for the response...the column is out of a 66 C20 and will be installing in a 66 C10. Not sure what the transmission is out of, possibly a 63 car. Is there aftermarket linkage available that anybody may know of? I have seen aftermarket kits that require changing the shifter shaft so that may be an option.

Re: Auto column parts questions

Thanks all for the info, but not sure these will work with the powerglide as the shifter shaft is welded on.
