Exclamation ATTN ALL : Please read concerning some recent complaints

Ive noticed ya'll all seem to be very touchy lately and at each others throats. I am tired of gettin PMs daily about why do we leave posts open that are hateful and rude. If ya'll feel like you can not refrain from saying something hateful in a reply DO NOT REPLY. Stop bashing the newbies and fighting amungst yourselves, it gets old fast. Most of ya'll are adults, lets act like it. ALL rude posts will be deleted and all posts that are nothing but pissin matches will be closed. Take a chill pill and follow the words of Josh in a previous post on the very same topic- "stfu, quit whining, quit fighting or earn yourself a ban".
Have a nice evening.

HEY! This is a rude thread and needs to be deleted!!

JUST KIDDING !!!!! I'm with you on keeping things peaceful on the board. This is a cool site, a lot of guys with a ton of knowledge and experience with these trucks out there. No point adding crap to the mix. Glad to know someone's keeping a watchful eye on things, much apprecitated.

I haven't noticed anything either. In fact, the people on this board are more helpful and friendly than on any other board I have joined. I was a member of a board called the Xterra Owner's Club where arguing and flaming went on everyday. They even had a category for posts related to flaming!

I agree that this is the friendliest and most helpful board around. We have a great group of people with an amazing range of knowledge. We all have bad days, and we all say things that may come across not as intended. The point is I have had several complaints about posts recently. This board will never be a flaming war, Josh never intended for it to be, nor will he allow it. That is one of the best things about these forums. There are a few who feel they can continually bash people, and may not even realize they are doing so. I do not say anything unless it starts to get out of hand, or complaints are made.

"Remember PEOPLE MAY NOT REMEMBER EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID, OR WHAT YOU SAID, BUT THEY WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW YOU MADE THEM FEEL. "
I borrowed that from a board members sig. Its the truth in life and the truth in posting. Just play nice and try not to act hateful. I hate to have to come across as a witch.

Ditto to that!!!!

I haven't noticed a whole lot lately either, but then again, it's been a pretty crazy summer, and I haven't been around much.

I have had some experience with other forums and have been shocked at some of the language and content of the posts. Maybe it's just my naivety, or maybe the fact that this forum is one of my first serious forum experiences but I am amazed by the crap that can be found out there. Now I may be a bit too conservative for some people, but I gotta be me .

For the most part, I find this forum is clean and very well moderated. That's why I (and obviously MANY others) just love hanging out here.

Keep up the great work, and please let me know if I ever offend.

I'm not real big on discussion boards, chat rooms, etc. simply because most of what I've seen there is people trying to piss someone off, probably sitting there at their computer with a big smile knowing they are causing steam to come out of someone's ears, just doing it to get their goat. I ride a Suzuki Volusia and ran across a discussion board called Volusia Owners League and that's the first board I've been on that's well moderated and a bunch of good folks. Other than that, this board is the only other one I go to, not only because I also have a truck, but because like the Volusia board, there's long time members here, good atmosphere, and great expertise being shared.

I've been here off and on for almost two years, and I'm sure I wouldn't have hung around that long if it wasn't the way it is. I'm sure the largest percentage of folks on here don't mind the moderators doing what they need to do at all.

Actually I thought the moderators have been doing a good job of controlling this issue.

Seen a few over the last year, but they terminated rather quickly.

This was very well said. You guys are doing a great job. Keep doing it!

For the heck of it, You might want to do a little Poll asking two questions.
NO 1) Who likes the job you all are doing with this site?
NO 2) Who does not like the job you all are doing?

I think you would be happy with the results.
Put me down under NO 1
