Another shot of my '87. Took my dogs for a ride to North Carolina. Perfect two-lane, back country cruiser.

Never got a good full pass (11.20's lifting). Not to shabby for all steel and 89 octane. I keep breaking things though....i'm finding all the weak links haha!!! I am running a mild zz502, 950HP carb, full race Hughes th400 with brake/4500 hard hit stall. I plan on a huffer (ProCharger) or some giggle gas later on once it find all the weak parts.

Re: how about some 73/87 chevy stepsides
Here is mine through the years.
Worker from back in 03 Then I wanted a matching plow Then I sold the plow (still sad) and now it stays in the garage mostly and collects dust ( has 35's now)

Re: how about some 73/87 chevy stepsides
Man you would have thought i ran over the easter bunny the way the cops are looking at my truck today {just puttin my truck around town} could it be the posi marks goin 150 ft thru the main street of town from the rat rod with no fenders, the motor blocking the windshield, straight pipes sticking out the side of the motor, parts hanging off? how do them guys get away with it? they would have the swat team on me if i built something like that. i have to finish the paint to differentiate myself from them guys they dont realize im way to cheap to treat my rig like that.although it is fun to watch someone else mercelessly beat their motor n tranny/shred their tires off then get pulled over.

Re: how about some 73/87 chevy stepsides
Great looking bunch of steppers in this thread. It brings back memories of one I had some years ago. A '78 Cordova brown one I put a 327 and Muncie 4spd in and drove that one for 12 years. It was a great truck. I don't think I have a single pic of that one either.

Re: how about some 73/87 chevy stepsides
Beautiful. Curious, what mileage do you get with that TBI? I'm putting one in my 68 c10 stepper. Once I get it further along, I'm thinking about selling it for a 73-87 4x4 stepper so I can use it for everything. Hard to go bird hunting in a low rider.
