Re: Radiator lower hose trouble
Yes I get that, but how is an AC compressor interfering with the lower hose on a regular small block when the compressor is mounted off the head and top water pump stud. Can you give us a picture

Re: Radiator lower hose trouble
Okay, I didn't get it had the serp belt set-up. I had a serp belt on my 400 small block in my flat bed, but the setup I had was identical to the one on my suburban and had no issue using the factory hose. So that being said I don't know what to tell you there other than you may have to change the bracket kit

Re: Radiator lower hose trouble
Maybe call their tech support and see if they recommend a certain part #. I would imagine one form a 92-98 truck hose would be the one to go with.

Quote:
On those serpentine systems they changed the angle of the dangle on the water pump suction, if I remember correctly we had to trim a little bit and we then stuck the radiator end into a coffee can of hot water to soften the rubber to stretch/slip it over the the radiator nipple. |

Re: Radiator lower hose trouble
The local Oreillys lets me wander around their hose inventory in the back room. I bring along a wire pattern that helps get me close.
