I use AC/Delco top of the line "Duraguard" I think it is called, or NAPA which is made by WIX and is supposed to be very good.

I think if you have clean oil and change it often it would take very unusual circumstances to have a problem.

it doesnt sound crazy to me ive just always wondered why you all dont like fram either-i dont care much for them myself.i use delco filters mostly but there kinda hard to find out here at times-used to be able to get them very easily but for some reason the only ones they have in parts stores for 350's seem to be the 10 dollar filters.maybe tom can shed some light on why that is or may even not be that way anymore im not sure.
