Clear tails?

Does anyone have clear taillights on their truck?

I saw a motor home with reverse lights that were clear 1973-87 Chevy truck tails and I am wondering how they would look.

Thanks
Jay

I have the tailights but don't have them on the truck right now. I have also seen out tailight lense all amber used on a motorhome.

not a fan of clear tail lights / euro style tail lights. a GM truck isn't made in Europe or Japan. BUT if it floats your boat, then rock on! its not my place to tell you how to style your truck!

Here's some pics of 73-87's with clear taillight lenses. I've got a pair, have clear front markers for the fenders too. not on yet though as my truck isn't near ready yet.

Those clear tails are on Triple E motor homes. Looks like they will work if you like the look, the holes are in the same place. Would look good with a 3x3 square LED behind it from your local big truck store!

BTW it looks much better if you buy the clear/euro/altezza style lights and have someone at one of the riceburner shops "smoke" them for you so they look completely black. Using stock lenses works too (I just had it done) but they retain a reddish/brown tint.
