Thumbs up

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike, just wanted to say thanx to you and Rhonda for putting up with us again. Had a good time meeting old friends and new while I was there. Had to leave early, wasn't driving. Grandkids had a soccer game, and my son and I had to cut it short. Next time, I'm driving myself and staying as late as I want. Missed the group shot.(would've had to use a wide angle lens) Jaime, yes I still want the shifter boot. Sorry I missed you and the Huck. Hope ya'll did good at the swap meet? The guy with the blue 68 4X4 and his son ridin shotgun was Truckman. Again Mike, THANX! Enjoyed it again.

I had a great time like everyone else and even got rid of some excess parts. Thanks to Mike and his wife for the hospitality. My truck even did great on its longest trip yet. I'm up to 450 miles on it so far. We sure got some looks on our caravan from Cincy. I'll try to get my pics on here tonight.

My Thanks too, go out to Mike and Rhonda for having us out.
And also to Dean, Alvin, Pierce, and Mylilbowtie for the great ride up north together. We sure did get some looks on I-75.
Especially Dean's SUPER CLEAN K20, and Pierce's newly painted Blazer.
Thanks to Steven for helping out when i broke down.

Fun time, good eats, just too short as Jamie/blazergal and I were swap meeting and couldn't break away eariler. Had a dude with a pocket full of cash looking for GMC Jimmy stuff and I had to help him all i could~~! Hats off to Mike and Rhonda for hosting and tks for all who made it. Great to see some old friends (Andy, Mike, Rob, Adam, etc.) and make some new ones. And yea--Alvin in the yellow S10 is actually Adam and he does have a 68ish truck in the "process". He bought it from board member BILL who got it out of Texas. I supplied him with a prestine SWB frame 2 years ago and --well as he says "it's coming along" Great guy!
Some really beautiful trucks---some even had the front emblems on right-side-up!hehehe Then there was my old blue towing the LWB trailer full of truck parts---.

The swap meet was interesting---Jamie FELL INTO A SET OF 67-68 BUCKETS AND A TACH DASH just minutes before I got there----grrrr. I happened upon a set of Blazer buckets, a like new GMC Tailgate with trim, a gorgeous set of 90-91 Buick Park Avenue 60/40 burgandy leather seats, etc. and we all had a good time.

Can't wait for next year~~~

you'all may want to ask LonghornMan about his rustproffing application techniques---hehehehe

I had a great time. Mike and Rhonda, thanks for having the meet. Met some good people and saw some sweet rides. Its pretty cool to see a build up on the net and then get to see it in person when its done. Maybe next year I'll be able to drive my Blazer up! I even had a great time freezing to death riding up (3 in the morning several hour trip to the swap meet friday morning) in Jamie72 and Blazergal's Blazer, thanks for haulin' me!

Thanks Mike and Rhonda, great party! Big Blue thanks, the wife loved her new toilet bowl brush. This board has awsome members. Cincinnati attendance was up by 300% from last year, really fun trip. Lots of good food, compliments to the chefs Rhonda and Cheeswagon for the Hobo Stew! Dean's truck was a sight to behold in real life and I got to cruise with it!
