Score and Dyeing Leather?
I scored some seats tonight on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting and will get shipped to me soon. They're not exaclty the color I want to do my interior with but for the price I couldn't pass them up. I was wondering about dyeing them to a camel color or something close to it. I know Eastwood has some good products but does anyone have any experience on doing this? I'll eventually have them recovered or if the dyening doesn't work out and I don't like the color I'll get some seat covers.

Nice score. I knew you couldn't resist those Taurus SHO buckets after you posted those black ones the other day. How much is the seller charging you for shipping? They don't exactly look like those black ones. Must be a different year?

Those are out of the newer body style SHO. The picture may make the color look a little funny, too. There are quite a few places here locally that repair and dye leather, so getting a color you want should be pretty easy. The stuff from Eastwood will work well, too.

WoW B, that is a good score...awesome!
I am not too sure dying the seats would be a good idea...it seems like it would flake/rub/peel off too easy. I could be wrong though since I have never actually done that before. Maybe you could get them reupholstered inexpensively somewhere local.
