'77 C10 for sale again!

Guys, this is a great truck but it's doing me no good to only be able to drive it once every couple weeks in the summer and none when I'm down at school and in the winter. Someone needs to get this and give it the attention it deserves. I have about $8,000 into this truck including purchase price and I would like $5000 OBO (notice the OBO part!). It has a very strong running 350 with a lopey cam fed by an Edelbrock 550. Tranny is a th350, it does leak a little but not much at all. Dual 3" exhaust from headers to rear. Shaved handles with remote opener. Good overall truck, needs some touch-up body and paint work, mainly on the passenger side quarter above the wheel opening and on the rockers. All of this can be seen in the pictures. I will consider any reasonable cash offer in the 5,000 neighborhood. No trades, I need the green! Here are a couple pics, below them is a link to the rest. Please PM me or call 765-642-1774 if you are interested! Thanks,

Jonathan

Man, why can't I get anybody to even show interest? Is the price just way too high or what?

It really looks like a nice truck.

I think it is just tough to sell anything over project price right now it seems.

I know I am broke as heck!!!

Good luck with the sell it looks great.

you've got that and you're playing with a rusty K5?

Jeff, no offense, but when i saw your truck advertised, the price was automatically too high, simply because of the fact that it wasnt all one color. so let me get this straight, you bought it for $4000, put $700 into it, and are complaining about "only" getting $3500 out of it? if you drove it for any period of time it sounds like a fair deal to me.

Tim, yep they are. I was actually planning on getting some bigger tires for the rear if I keep it, but I'm not sure. And Jeremy, the K5 is long gone, I scrapped it mid-summer, now I'm working on that '82 K20. Also, I guess I forgot to add the link to the rest of the pics, so here it is:

It would have to be rust free all over to get that much, but good luck anyway.

Have you tried ebay?
Autotraderonline?

Damn, and to think I paid 6 grand for it and have another 1000 into it easily. For 3500 I'd keep the mother. I'd be happy with 4500 at the lowest probably. Damn Indiana and it's rust anyway. I've tried Indiana Auto & RV but I probably had the price way too high. Being a broke college student I can't really afford to take a $3500 loss on it but I guess that's the way things work. One thing's for certain, I'm not buying anymore custom 2wd's :p I'll make them myself.

OK, if someone can hand me 4500 cash it's sold. If not, it's getting thrown under a tarp for the winter and I'm re-listing it in the spring when the market is up.

Being far away doesn't help.

Gas prices what they are can add up on transporting.
