swap
i just bought a 62 chev.what is an easy swap for the drive train.it is a 3 speed standard with an in line 6

for my 66 I got the upper and lower control arms with the spindles and rotors attached. they bolted right up. the only thing I have to change is the break lines. the same went for the rear axle it is also a 72, bolted right up no problems.

i think he was talking engine mongo! getting to used to answering those disk brake questions eh?
if it were my truck id put a basic 350/th350 combo

if it were me i would
put a 350 and a nice truck manual four speed but it all depends if you want a manual or auto tranny?

i would like to put in an auto no matter what size the engine,though i would like to keep one i got if that is affordable
