Re: project: FTD
yes sir they are in fact painted with VHT...
each part was fully dissasembeled soaked in b-12, wire wheeled, primed and painted.. i have ALOT of "qtip touchups" to go.. but hey im not gonna complain.. i have to wait a week for my danged wires to come in.. apparently NOBODY has orange black or red msd wires in stock... only yello accel.... grrr... i still have to run the wiring for my electric fan... (which can MOVE SOME SERIOUS AIR) i have the adjustable thermostat "hidden" behind the glove box, that's also where i relocated the ac relays and others that i have stumbled across... and now for the stripped interior i have to finish sanding withthe 36 grit.. (which SUCKS and takes FOREVER) so that i can finally spray my liner in.. then of course.. xfer case, drive line... etc.. then the 700 MILE BREAK IN STARTS... that sucks soooo so so so so so so so sos osoosososooooo bad.. can you tell im getting impatient?

Re: project: FTD
So what happened to the driver door? Did you try to wipe it after it loaded up or what?

Re: project: FTD
i praticed on it.. and super overshot it... so i wiped it and the "air shot" it to gain some texture back... but i overshot it so damn bad that i had to wipe it again.. and i just got pissed and said some negative working out loud......
then proceeded to the rest of the truck... i also bumped the same dang door..... twice.. so yeah... im an idiot.. it's my first time ad i learned ALOT...

Re: project: FTD
a 6 in 1 is like a putty knife, roller scraper, knife edge, chisel, etc etc etc all in one tool. I call them 5in1's but it's the same thing.
