OK had some time to play with my handbrakes, had to cut about 2" off cable, but shroud seems to be the right length

No Tully, wife wants a new kitchen, I've been chipping plaster to get it down to bare brick. Summer time is always spent working on the 125 year old house, soon though, I will get back into my workshop. Thanks for looking! Pool party @ daughters house with summer shanty. Thanks for saving me from dropping off 1st page...lol

Mr. Downs you always have an interesting way of looking at things, I'll thank him when I run into him again for all the shoddy work, but I only paid 700.00 for it

Drove my rental convertible camero on Daytona beach last Feb.

Re: PO has me PO'd

Here's what your Camaro would look like if it was machined from billet aluminum. Actually, it's the master gauge that all Camaros are based off of.

More or less. There are a few pieces that are removable like the rear fascia, doors etc. You can see a production deck lid bolted on the gauge to check for fit accuracy. Definitely a cool piece, and definitely the most expensive Camaro in the world.

can't imagine the size of the mill required to machine those parts, thanks for posting up, very interesting. Gotta say my door gaps are perfect, nice work

That's awesome, you could just hydroform a titanium Camaro off that.

Re: PO has me PO'd

Wow! I've seen this thread for years and have avoided reading it even though I like to keep up with the local builds. It has so many posts I knew that once I started I would be sucked in and I was right. I read the entire thread over the last few nights and it was a great read. For a guy who doesn't seem to enjoy electrical work you sure accomplish a lot of it. I was hoping for the big payoff at the end. Maybe a pic of the Jimmy on a dirt road or parked next to your favorite fishing stream. I did not expect a Camaro. Lol. Great build, great documentation and looks like you made some great friends. Good luck in the future. Now I can just watch for the updates.

Glad you enjoyed it, well my GSX Eclipse blew its second clutch, had 220,000 miles on it and was having some rust issues, so after 17 years, I thought it was time to replace the old girl

thank you, weird color, basically grey, but flakes of green, shifts to black in the right sun light.
I always enjoy cruising thru your state, good back roads and you never know what you might find in a NJ back yard. If you guys are ever in Pa. You're welcome to stop by. Hope I entertained you with my thread

Re: PO has me PO'd

OK, so I thought an update was due, kitchen cabinets are not due in till next week so it gave me some time in the shop. My biggest hurdle is wiring, so I thought I would get after it. Mounted up the MAP sensor, and plugged in the OEM vacuum line from the fuel regulator to plenum fitting. Then realized I didn't make the air temp. Sensor connection, ouch! Now the plenum has to come off again, since it is buried in the bowels of the intake, oh well. It is soooo much easier working on the engine without the wheel well installed, you can stand on the ground and work, I may even take off the drivers side when it comes time to work there

Thanks J. it is a blast. If I wasn't stuck in kitchen prison, I'd be driving it a lot more....
