Re: PO has me PO'd
I thought it was a typo, because I've never heard of 2 phase either. Might be to help motor starting without the need of a start winding. Here in Canada, standard 3 phase voltage is 550, where you guys have 480 I think. Makes it a PITA for us sometimes to run US machines.

Re: PO has me PO'd
^^^^^
I've been in industrial maintenance for 50 years and never ran into it, 'wye' and 4 phase, but not 2 phase. 7 weeks build time on the VFD.....ouch my head hurts thinking about starter windings. 220/221 its all the same lol

Re: PO has me PO'd
Don't worry about mucking up the thread, information is information. I believe the long lee time is due to the 2 phase, I asked if there was one on the shelf and they said no

Re: PO has me PO'd
started to work on the exhaust so I can weld in the O2 bung, don't like the way the pipes fit, seem to be covering oil filter. May have to buy a remote oil filter

Re: PO has me PO'd
potential location of remote oil filter
[url=https://flic.kr/p/N4ZyqA] [url=https://flic.kr/p/N4Zyqq] shesh, the prices for the fittings and hose is more than the adaptor and remote

Boy, do I know what you mean on that account. I bet my hoses added 1/3 to my fuel system cost. Braided fittings are not cheap. |

Re: PO has me PO'd
yeah Tom, one oring -12 fitting full flow is fifty bucks, and I need 4. I'll start putting an order together today. Glad the wifey doesn't read this forum
If I want to play of this forum, I've got pay price of fittings and hose, doubled the cost of parts

Re: PO has me PO'd
fittings came in from jegs, 90's on the remote, 45's on the adapter
[url=https://flic.kr/p/NCfj2Q] now I can use the larger capacity filter from NAPA. Make sure you use O-ring fittings for the remote [url=https://flic.kr/p/NCfj2j]

DO NOT use a wrench to start, start by hand this is where it gets knurley, keep an eye on your wrenches, if you do nail a nut, sharpie sorta matches

Re: PO has me PO'd
think I dodged a bullet, little mod on my 'K' case flywheel cover, and I should be able to use the bosses that were to be used for engine mount struts for my oil line clamps

Re: PO has me PO'd
started to order parts for my unity spotlight, mine has a roof mount and the switch is bad. Luckily they are still in business, ordered the mount (202), couldn't tell if it was in stock or not

Re: PO has me PO'd
I spent a lot of time when I was in high school using a Bridge Port Mill. Made a lot of cool stuff out of chunks of Aluminum/Brass that we had cast with our forge in school as well as some really awesome wood boxes. This was in the late 90's. Sad that most kids in high school will never know the joy(pain in the rear) controlling three dimensions by hand. Computers do it now and will even rotate the piece for you.
People only see the finished job not the work that we have put in to build and recreate these "projects" we have. Similar to you I own a 1905 Farm House. The only original plaster that is left is a 3 foot by 3 foot chunk that I just couldn't bring my self to tear down. It is covered by Quarter Sawn White Oak so I left it. Otherwise the entire house has been massaged and updated. No one understood the process and the total Love(hate) i have with the house now. Thank you for sharing all you do with the community! Sorry I am posting about a few pages ago about 106 to 108 maybe...
