Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

yeah Im planning on bagging and some putting 20's or 22's on it once we buy our house. This truck is replacing my s10 that was stolen when I moved here to wichita. It layed frame on 18's and had a 350 in it. Im in the Air Force and just got stationed here in July from Alaska. Man do I miss it up there haha

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

first on the list for me would be a LOUD alarm for the truck before doing work on it
darn people can't leave other peoples stuff alone ...... hope they wrap themselves around a tree driving it

Great door panels. Did you do recover them yourself? I would like to do something like that to mine. What did you use to get the fabric to stick so well. If you have any other tips, that would be great!

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

looks low enough to me , you can go lower but with a static drop you prolly need to drive around anything more than 1 inch deep to keep the oilpan under the trck

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

Much lower and you may have issues with the c arms hitting or turning issues. In the picture you can see the c arms are not far from the ground and the tire is close to the fender and could cause problems for you. I know when I drive mine real low I have to raise it up some to turn and depending on the road the arms do drag, also you from valance will hit speed bumps.
Looks good the way it is.

Looks great to me. I 'd like mine to ride about that high. Could you give me some drop info( drop height, drop components, tire and rim size, ect.)?
