I did voice my opinion about the price has been that way for over a year. So i'm kind of ticked. Now it's more searching for a good deal. Anybody got any coupon codes for jegs, summitt or any place else that might have them?

Man, I would argue for a long time if I ordered something at a price they have listed...threaten BBB, etc...I HATE when businesses pull that sort of stuff. If they make a mistake on pricing they should honor it. Unless it's a typo that they quickly fix or a misprint of a flyer that they immediately print a disclaimer about....But something that's been out there for a year is their price and they need to own it.

Yeah I agree, the more I think about it the more I want to call them back. I've been so busy at work I didn't want to spend 30 minutes on the phone. I just rechecked the website and it's still at $389. I know they might have to wait for the web guy to fix it.......but still. I don't know how to save a copy of their check out page. Alan,

Hold the Alt button down and hit print screen. It won't look like it does anything. Open up a Microsoft Word blank document, (or another document program) and click on edit on the top of the screen. Click on paste. That should put an image of the web page on the document. Then just save it.

Edit: I just went to their website and have the page saved. If you want to PM me your e-mail address, I can send it to you. I saved it showing the date and time in the image also.

Thanks Jason, it worked. Is there a way to include that capture in an email in the form of a pic?

Shannon came thru for me in a search for another set of headers. He found them at Autopartsdealer.com for $432.57 with free shipping. I should be ordering them tonight. Thanks again Shannon.

Same way Alan. Instead of pasting it into a word document, open up a blank page in Paint, then paste it into that, save as a .jpg file. Then you can insert it or attach it to an e-mail.

Yes, there are shorties. A little shorter than I want, but as long as they fit I'll be happy. Hedman 69646 for use with the CPP engine perches.

The shop is per code, the temporary structure does not require codes to the best of my knowledge.

It works that way here too.ya get them headers on so I can see how much room you have under them.

Here is the style collectors they have.



Passenger side needs some help. It shouldn't be too bad.



Drivers side fit great.



The altenator bracket needed some trimming.





You can't see it in the pic, but the bracket does have a 90* bend running up to the altenator so the bracket does have some strenght to it.



The drivers side header is completely installed. I hope.

Getting back after it. Trying to get some small things rounded up that need paint. I never did find my other vent window frame that I thought I painted. I tore apart another one and blasted it. Still need to sand arounf the chrome strip.



Finally got around to trimming the front shroud so I could put my upper radiator hold downs in. Still need to drill and install a nutsert.





Stripped the front sheet metal off so I could access the header on the left side without scratching the inner fender. Plus now I can button up the engine a little easier.



Going thru the seals for the fender I found this seal and not exactly sure where it goes. I think it goes along the bottom of the inner fender. I've got the ones where the fender bolts to the inner. I also have the one between the inner fender and the radiator support. I still need the one between the inner fender and the cab. It wasn't in the kit.



Shannon was over working on his cab and had the camera and caught me.

That's not one of those Homes on Homes ring in your ear is it? If it is, you need to also wear the wife beater tee shirt also. Maybe put on a little weight. Alan on Alan? It's just does'nt work as good as the homes thing does it. He probably changed his name. The Paul senior stash is looking good though. I still like this one the best. Brrrrr my nuts are cold. Ok I'm done. Good to see you making progress.

Mind if I ask what year the alternator you are running is? I have similar brackets and can't find the correct one.
