Re: Bazooka's 63 build thread.
Looks really good. You gonna make a shroud for it? I think Alan used the same rad on his truck so you might take a look at his shroud.

Re: Bazooka's 63 build thread.
Havent had internet since May. Just checking in. Truck is going to The Choppin Block in fresno to fix some stuff that wasnt done right by the other guy. I'll see if I can get on soon after to post some pics. When I get it back I should only be a driveshaft away from driving it.
Oh yea cleaned out my PM box too. It was full.. |

Re: Bazooka's 63 build thread.
I'm not offically back yet. Just able to get online once in awhile at different places.
He rushed my truck out of his shop cause he was closing his doors. Was supposed to get me taken care of within a month or two after. I waited 9 months untill I decided to take it somewhere else. Bed mounts were just temporary they sucked. Rearend was installed to far towards the rear. Some other small odds and ends. They made some bumper brackets and stuff for me too. It's getting closer but money is tight. I just want to drive it again.. |

Re: Bazooka's 63 build thread.
Here is some of the stuff that has got done on my truck at the choppin block
AVS gauges under the dash Added adjustable ends to move rear forward. extended rear of frame to reach factory rear bed mount front bed mounts redone Heres the truck when I got it home. I'm going to adjust the rear a little more forward in the wheel well. Ride hieght is pretty low. its raised up in this pic to get it off the tow truck. They made bumper brackets for the rear and installed the rear bumper. They also fixed my accelerator linkage Going to get my tranny yoke to do to stick in the tranny so maybe I can hear it run today for the first time in 2 years.. |

Thanks guys
got the truck started up again. Still sounds great.. need to get the driveshaft made for it and make a new brakeline for the rear. the guy who worked on my truck the first time removed and threw away all my metal brake lines from the cab back. I also want to get it wired up with the new Rebel harness and upgrades from MAD electrical Last edited by Bazooka; 10-27-2010 at 05:10 PM. |

Re: Bazooka's 63 build thread.
Looks awesome buddy, hope to hear that you're rolling in that baby soon! I hate to hear that a business would do that to a customer, no matter what the reason(s). Makes me wish everyone did business like Nathan (Porterbuilt) and all the other site vendors on here.

Re: Bazooka's 63 build thread.
Got the new driveshaft made and installed. I think I'm pretty dang close to having this thing road ready. Just need to install that wiring harness and take it to the alignment shop.
