Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy

i am a little puzzled on the rear floor, the front of the floor has bolts in it but the back of the floor is welded, the outside underneath of the rear wheel tubs are bolted and the inside is welded, i havent got my side panels out in the back yet so maybe i am missing something that i will see once i remove those panels, but does the inside floor in the back come out if you unbolt it all ??

Gee Mike, I thought you knew all this stuff.

GM doesn't want to upset the bolters union so they let them do half of something and to keep the welders union happy, they get to do the other half!

This is what I'll be using on my square. You can basically mount the wiper motor just about anywhere as long as the push/pull cable will reach the farthest wiper arm mount. A buddy has it on his '32 Chevy coupe and it works really sweet!

Maybe even keeping it in mind of it being able to be expanded to 20 x 40 to make room for Square Peg in the future!

Ya got to do something other than stay stock! The squarebodies stock dash is one that everyone simply replaces with repo parts and the look is always the same!

I like that dash shown from a early sixties Chevy with the twin dash eyebrows, but I'm using one from a '66 C10 in my square. It will look good with the single long eyebrow going the length of the dash. Right now, I'm torn between having a glove box door or smoothing it all out.

It will probably be after Christmas before I can get out to where my truck is to look for that passenger side door sill.
