My 64 GMC that was my great grandfathers that I got when I was 16 is that exact color and I plan on repainting it that color when I get around to getting it going again.

Thanks. Look what the previous owner did to the dash... Any chance anyone needs a automatic tilt steering column from a 70's Chevy truck with the column ignition switch? This one is coming out and a factory automatic steering column is going in its place. |

Re: Post Your Ride 60-66 Trucks
Yikes! Judging by the speaker holes in the doors and the dash hack job, this was an late 80's-early 90's custom jobber.

Re: Post Your Ride 60-66 Trucks
Born as a long bed but now it's a shorty. I'm two years in and out of money to spend on it, like everyone else. This thing hasn't rolled anywhere in a year and a half. The end is in sight....if I only had another 5 grand.

Well, I'm trying to figure out how to start a thread. I'm a photographer so you know I've documented the whole process. I'll try to get some shots up soon.

Re: Post Your Ride 60-66 Trucks
Not that anyone should care, but I tried to organize what was becoming an out-of-control Photobucket account. I also managed to kill all my links, so I'm throwing a couple of pictures back into this thread for no good reason.
