That C4 set-up sure looks right . . .....

The Dropmember moves the lower control arm centerline up 3 inches from stock.

I don't remember seeing anything about whether the Dropmember centers the wheels in the wheelwell fore/aft. As most of us are well aware, these trucks have a tendency to push the CL back towards the firewall when extremely lowered. Is the DM designed to center the wheel, or at least closer than stock parts?

I just wanted to say that the dropmember is the sweetest setup I have seen. I am in planning stage now but this is definitely what I have been looking for. I have one question and is does not pertain to the drop member. What size are the rear tires on the camero your building. You show a picture in post #212. I am wanting to built my truck into a g-machine of sorts and have been looking for a killer wide rear tire. If I were wanting to run the same rear tire andwheel set up on my 70 What frame work would be involved? and again Killer set up and sweet rigs

Thanks for the positive comments on my product.

The rear tire on the camaro is a 335 30R20 on a Boze Forged 20x12 wheel. It's definitely addicting! Two other customers 'have to have it' now!

If you're wanting this combo on your truck you will need to either narrow the frame-rails (and obviously mod the bed floor and inner wheel tubs) or purchase one of my back-halfs to go with the front... it is in the works, and will hopefully be production ready in the next few months.

WOW Nathan! I didn't know you were going to build a back half setup also. Thats great! Your coming up with some great ideas! So when do you think you will design a complete frame that will lay rocker on 29" tires and folds up into a box so you can ship it easily? Let me know so i can buy stock in your company . Keep up the great work and remember i get a percentage of that idea

Yes Nathans dropmember does correct the wheel placement at dump in the fenders. Mine is centered perfectly. All you have to do is take your fender cut it in half, then grab another fender, cut out 2" of it in the center. Then you have to weld that 2" piece you cut out inbetween the 2 halves of your original fender. That is what i had to do.

You lost me on the cutting the fender in-half and then adding two inches?

The Dropmember does center the wheel at dump.

Sorry Nathan, I was just joken about the wheel not being center. I wasn't thinking that someone might actually take me serious. Just to let everyone know that the dropmember does center the wheel at dump. I will take a picture tonight showing how well the wheel is centered in my fender. Anyways talk to you later.

Here is a pic of the wheel centered. The fender is just mocked up but more or less in its correct spot. Sorry the pic is a little dark. My flash on my camera isn't very bright. I don't know if i would even call it a flash. I actually think it darkened the picture. Is that possible .

i got another question for all that is stupid, but im going to say it anyways! well im trying to put a Borg Warner T-5 behind my 327!!! my truck is a C10 LWB P/U and has a rear engine crossmember mounts and bolts to a 11" cast iron bellhousing

my question is can this crossmember be moved to the rear of the tranny to be used as a tranny mount or will i have structial problems of the frame??

We're open Mon-Fri 8-5:30

There are occasions where I am at the shop on Saturdays, but I keep the doors locked and closed. If anybody is in the area and wants to stop by during business hours... feel free to do so, as long as we have set-up a time. Without a scheduled appointment, I can't guarantee I will be able to visit. My days are extremely busy and I have a lot to get done.

It would work out best if you just removed that crossmember and purchased a tubular trans crossmember to use. Besides, my guess is that you'll end up cutting it apart to get it out! (unless of course your truck is already completely dis-assembled). The structural integrity will not be compromised enough to make it 'unsafe'.
