Re: Let's see some 73-87 1 Ton Dually Pictures!
The inside spacer is just that (a spacer). The one used for the outer wheels in an adapter. Spacers are just inserts of varying thickness. Adapters are secured to the original stud threads & utilize a different set of studs to secure the wheel.

It's an adapter if it adapts a different bolt pattern. Spacer if it spaces the wheels apart.

I'm gonna be running 315-75-16 tires so I'll be needing a 2 inch for the inside and then prolly 2 inch for in between the tires..so I wonder which ones I would actually need..

It's an adapter if it has studs w/threads; even if it's the same bolt pattern.

Re: Let's see some 73-87 1 Ton Dually Pictures!
Here's a couple pics of a 79 1 ton dually I recently shortened to a short bed length. Was going to put it under my 68 Dually but after reading all the trouble with the swap I went ahead and just shortend my original frame 60 inches. Yep 60.
So now, what to do with this one? I do also have 4 squares sitting at my mountain property so I might just wait on this one for a future project. Anyhow, saw this thread asking for pictures of 73-97 1 ton dually and thought you guys might want to see pics of what one looks like undressed?

Just about done with my 4wd conversion. Have to mount the front shocks and brackets and finish the crossmember for the engine.
