Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

1978 with a 350, 400, and I believe a 203. Pretty much all stock except someone switched out the hubs for manual lockers. Runs okay but plan is cummins with nv4500 and 205.

That is going to make a nice stout rig out of it.

I don't know if you are familiar or not but auto world in Great Falls Montana makes a set of motor mounts that will bolt that engine into your truck no modification to the fire wall required.

Thanks, that's why i bought it, the body is straight and no rust. Fleet maintaned fire dept truck, so i guess that might explain it. 350 motor with 89k on it and the body is good so for $3k I thought it was a good deal. I put tires on it, had the kingpins rebuilt by my buddy. Thats it so far.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Took me 2 years of searching to find a round eye crew dually 4x4. Just put some new heads, roller rockers and cam in it. Needed a little more punch, I think I can take a new mustang now

What year is that? Looks like a 1991, and if it is it should have the 4l80e and 205 combo. Great find either way.
