I have a crate 350 in my 69. Have put about 30K on it with no problems. Motor runs strong. For the money you can't go wrong.

I have a 350 on a engine stand that's from a 79 Chevy wrecker that the PO said was a high nickle content block, whatever that means. I guess making up your mind between building and engine (which can be a lot of fun) but risky or having a crate engine which does have a warranty is the 2 factors which have to be weighed in making a decision. The older engines have 2 piece rear main seals etc.
