Re: The infamous Extended Cab SWB Truck

Back to the topic at hand. It looks odd. Don't like the back side glass. Other members attempts look much better.

WOW, didn't think that so many people would reply to this post.
BTW, I agree that the Project Penicilin is a much smoother look

Re: The infamous Extended Cab SWB Truck

Hey, I owned that truck. And the key word was "owned". I too thought that it was ugly once I drug it home.................I really could go for one of the 4x4 crewcabs (longbed) though.............

The owner of Project Penicillin also has one of the Extended cab things but I talked him into puting it on the back burner. Once project Penicillin is complete I am hoping for a truck that has a factory built look. That is a look I do not feel you can get when starting with one of these extended cabs. But to each his own!

But if people like the extended cab look I know where their is one in Vacaville with brand new rockers and lowers you might be able to pick up!

Hey Brian, I thought it was the one you had before, maybe the guy didn't like it after all.

Re: The infamous Extended Cab SWB Truck

May not be the prettiest truck but for the right price I'd prolly drag it home and try to make sumthing of it...I'd much rather have a 4x4 crew cab longbox style tho as burnsman said above.

Call me but I kinda like that Vette with the wagon body...I see it as the only era of vette that can/could pull it off tho IMO

Re: The infamous Extended Cab SWB Truck

Back then i guess there where considered work trucks only, who ever order this truck probably didnt care about the looks to much, they never image that 30 years later a bunch of guys (like me) going to be spending a lot of money on this trucks, i have one kind a like this (no ass truck) that i bought from FINE69, i do not know how to post pictures yet but is in longhorn web site.
