What about classicchevrolertparts.com They are not too far from me. Last time I was there they seemed high on price though.

Everyone has someone they are keen too...
I am keen to Jerry Brown in Crossville, TN (The Truck Shop) or on a larger scale, Chevy Duty (Now Classic Parts of America). DLB |

Re: Poll Time! Who gives the Best deal and Has Best Parts!?
I buy most of my goodies from GMCPauls. Good selection, good prices and they ship quickly. Its nice to order from someone close to you to save time, but if they don't ship it that day, you don't save any time. GMCPauls typically ships that day or the next.

Re: Poll Time! Who gives the Best deal and Has Best Parts!?
As far as suppliers the three that I have dealt with in no particular order are: Christians Classic Truck Parts, GMCPauls, and Wes at Classic Heartbeat. I have met all three and they are all class acts. They offer competitive prices, have knowledge about our trucks, they are helpful, and they own and drive these trucks. I do not always buy on the cheapest price because the cheapest price is not always the best price. In sales I develop a good working relationship with my customer, I offer good service, I am trustworthy, and I offer competitive prices. The three vendors above meet that criteria along with many other but I can only vouch for these three. I also try and support the smaller businesses since this is their livelihood. Think of all their expenses: they have insurance bills, overhead expenses in buildings and parts inventory, dealing with the suppliers of our parts on our behalf, they receive and ship parts, and they still need time for the family and their hobby which is also our hobby, our trucks. Let's face it, they need to make a profit or else they will be out of business. I joke a lot and say; "you make up losses in volume." Not so. There are a lot of good suppliers for a our trucks so lets support the suppliers who support us. Just my .00002 cents worth. So who has the cheapest prices…that’s going to be your call.
One thing we must remember...To have a first class company with first class parts it takes money to operate and good people to make it work. From reading the post I would say we have a lot of first rate suppliers to choose from. so lets support those who support us.

Re: Poll Time! Who gives the Best deal and Has Best Parts!?
#1, Truck and Car Shop for me. If they've got it, it's usually cheaper, and like most of them, if you order over $250, they ship free, except bulky items. But the value of those items still count towards the free shipping. If that makes sense.
Beyond that, old Chevy Duty, or LMC on the harder to find stuff. I try and buy a little from LMC just to reward them for their great catalog. Jay

Re: Poll Time! Who gives the Best deal and Has Best Parts!?
I would say that GMC Paul's may not have the BEST price, but the prices are great and the service is top notch. They have shipped fast and they also have an ebay store where I have gotten some great prices too. Board support is a huge plus.

Re: Poll Time! Who gives the Best deal and Has Best Parts!?
I have gotten great prices, fast personal service and just some fun shootin the bull on the phone with Mike Molnar, from Mikes Bump and Grind Garage in Webster, Texas. They are a site vendor and deal the same stuff from most
any suppliers that other vendors use. Give Mike a call at 1-800-398-0537. The online store is still being built so if you don't see what ya want just call and ask! Later---DAC

Re: Poll Time! Who gives the Best deal and Has Best Parts!?
I recently ordered my cab corners, inner and outter rockers and my cab support from GMCPauls and was extremely pleased with them. There was a slight mishap with my inner rockers but they have bent over backwards to fix it, they have outstanding customer service and it only took three days to get the parts. Actually it took 5,,,,,fed ex doesn't work on sunday and mondays and the parts were sitting in a warehouse about 45minutes from me those two days.
GMCPauls is my vote and will be the first place I will look for anything in the future. Frank

Re: Poll Time! Who gives the Best deal and Has Best Parts!?
For Engine Parts Northern Auto Parts Has Really Good Prices And Ships Fast. For Everything Else Classic Parts Of America(chevy Duty) And Lmc. I Would Give Classic Parts The Edge Because Of Customer Service, Competitive Prices And They Don't Try Cramming Everything Into A Shoe Box!

Re: Poll Time! Who gives the Best deal and Has Best Parts!?
My experience with Truck and Car Shop was OK. Their customer service actually called me to say one of the parts I ordered already came with the screws I had also ordered. The stuff came a bit slow, however (more than a week), considering I live two states north.

Re: Poll Time! Who gives the Best deal and Has Best Parts!?
Check the vendors and see if they are coming to a swap meet near you
1. no tax 2. no shipping 3. better prices than their catalog 4. meet them in person and ask questions.... i've done this with GMCPauls, truckandcarshop, and Jerry Brown (the truck shop) and had great luck with all of them @ Carlisle,PA.
