I <3 2WD Blazers...

I agree...but he could sell the newer front clip to the 88+ loving crowd and purchase what he needs to keep it looking like a 77.

Why ya picking on me? I am not the only one who said it...

Re: Here's what $500 got me, how did I do?

Hey adam great find, i'm having trouble determining what color it is, is it cherry or rust. I had a 77 k5 with cherry and white paint, the previous owner put the newer highback in it with a real wicked looking dark cherry velor fabric, I hated to sell it but had two young kids and a mortage to take care of and the gas was killing me at the time.
So what else do you have planned beside the dog house swap?

You'll also need the cowl vent panel, and I beleive the cowl needs cut for the hinges, as they are different from the '80 and older trucks.....it's more work than just bolting on parts.....

If everything was bolt on then you wouldn't have individuality and all these trucks would be cookie cutters.

it's rust but I was thinking of painting it two tone with red and white, anybody have pics of a blazer like that? I'm not 100% sure about the front clip, looks like it might be more work than I thought and it would be nice to sell it and use the money on other stuff. I'm going to look for seats tomorrow, not sure if I want to do the interior in gray or tan yet? Hopefully I'll have my wheels/tires ordered the end of next week

I'm thinking something like these, I have a friend who can get me eagle wheels pretty cheap.

Re: Here's what $500 got me, how did I do?

Those are nice wheels, are you going to put a little rake to it and larger tires on the rear? I like blazers to have a little nose down instead of sitting level. Keep sending us progress pics.

Adam I put those Eagles in 22's on my 06 Chevy CC. I really like the way they look and they are easy to clean.

My two cents is keep the OE look. You have a great find there. You even have the bucket seats a console. Cool. You can find a good hood at a salvage yard. Anyway, that is my vote. But it is your truck.
