I used six cans of Rustoleum automotive primer to paint my 83 which I sold in January... Costed about $26... Here's the before and after pics... Rattle Can Customs!!

Ever tried the cheap Enamel from Tractor Supply? It's $7 a quart or $20 a gallon. Really good stuff for the money and does a very nice job for what it is. I painted my Jeep with "Bright Red". Bought a gallon of enamel paint, hardner, and thinner for about $35 or 40. Just another option to consider and check out for a really nice even and cheap paint job. I belive they do have flat black also if that's what your looking for. Here's a couple pics of my cheap Jeep paint job...

Yeah, we regretted selling that one... I picked up a '73 about 2 weeks later though... that's the new project... Got big plans for it.

well i want to make mine a home built job so i was going to it the cheep way but buy paint at advance for 20 bucks...

well my dad said well lets rattlecan everything..

well this looks great so were goin for it!

I am doing 67 army themed truck with rattle cans... I still have to hit it with a scuff pad to get the finish I am after..
