I take it you dont have health ins. I cant amagine having bills that big with out hitting the courts to file bankruptcy. Civil court is all you have to get anything out of him right now, if the District Attorney doesnt want to do there job. I dont know about where you are but here they are elected, so I would tell him or her that they would not get mine or any of my freinds votes next time they run. Just my .02

being a victim of a wreck too, that put me in the hospital via life flight, and 3 surgery later.....ive discuvered that people without insurance, or jobs, are above the law.....the "system" only works againts the responceible person....bottomline is you're screwed, so is your credit......what can you do??? be bitter all your life, or forgive the jerk and everyone involved, and go on.....this situation sucks, beleave me i know......
