Re: My 65 Suburban
Great truck, I have always wanted one of these and when I'm finished with my 66 SWB I will have one. I noticed yours is the custom cab with auto and air, I wonder how many they made like this.
P.S. Are these the same as carryalls, because where I'm from thats what they were called. |

Sweet ride. I just picked up a 64 the same color aqua and plan on doing a build with a 20 / 22 combo. Keep up the great work.

Re: My 65 Suburban
Very nice! Same orig color as my 64 Long Bed, if mine didnt need so much rust work Id leave the paint the way it is. Wish I could find a decent 'Burban work on after this truck is 'done'. I really like the tube work up front.

Re: My 65 Suburban
Killer lookin' 'burb. I would like to do that much to mine but its basically so nice underneath that I hate to cut it up. I will have pics of it shortly sitting on bags as low as possible on the frame....kinda hotrod style. I guess thats why I have my pick-up too!!!
I subscibed to see your future updates...take more pics, thanx.

Re: My 65 Suburban
Been awhile, haven't done alot on mine but my son's we have progress on. Cleaned the motor up, fixed all the leaks, replaced all the suspension parts, bushing, bearings all of the drive train. Starting to come together. For more pics check out myspace.com/dmscotty.
I do have a small problem though. I need to swap the gas tank for a lower profile tank on the 67. Does anyone know or have done this? I can get one made but I am looking for a cheaper route first. THANKS

Re: My 65 Suburban
I am not familiar with the burbs but I have been looking at tanks for my truck and I have seen a few other's use low profile tanks meant for passenger cars. Look at tanksinc.com
