Re: I might have sold my 78 Buckskin truck .
Hey Ken , that truck is too short . The one I am buying is a longbed . Anthony took some pics today and that is where the pic I posted came from . I talked to the owner tonight and will be sending a deposit tomorrow . I will pay for the rest when I pick it up . Hopefully next Sat . Since the rear seems to peak curiousity , here is the front and one from the middle .

i thought i was onto you and knew which truck it was, there was one on ebay nearly identical, but i found the ad and it has a few things different that i could notice to see it was a different truck.

Re: I might have sold my 78 Buckskin truck .
you are correct on the liner, but at least i got another picture out of you! haha. thanks for the comment on my truck. i've been hanging out in the 73-87 a bit lately and it's stricly cuz of trucks like yours and ken's. it's had me looking a little, that's why i saw the one on ebay. i would've cried when the buckskin truck left, i would've had to put air in that sucker and driven the heck out of it. being a fellow texan makes me know that a/c is a must, especially lately, good grief. inside of my bed is nearly that clean, and it's original wood! had a camper on it from day one.

Re: I might have sold my 78 Buckskin truck .
I am glad that I performed the maintenance I did on the tan truck . The guy emailed me and he arrived home last night . The truck made it to West Virginia without a problem . He said he was behind the wheel over 21 hours and the truck was problem free . I knew that was a good truck .

Re: I might have sold my 78 Buckskin truck .
I havent picked it up yet . These pics are courtesy of Classic87 who went and looked at it for me . I will be taking pics when I get it here . I am going to KS this weekend to get . At least that is the plan right now . I overnighted the deposit on Monday so it is mine , just the details to work out and final payment . I will start a new thread on it when it gets here . It does have flaws but I think they are minor . The truck is a 73 Cheyenne Super 10 . Frank

Re: I might have sold my 78 Buckskin truck .
Well I told my wife there was money in it and she let me buy it . I was suppose to wait a long time to buy another one after buying the black truck back . I am thinking 2.5/4 inch drop with 17x8 and 17x9.5's with 255/60/17 and 275/60/17's . I figure totally stock but lowered and wheels like the Buckskin truck was . What do you think ? Otherwise left totally stock . Right now I will probably just put the BFG's and Rallys from the black truck on it when I find something for the black truck .

Re: I might have sold my 78 Buckskin truck .
Your joking right?
I would roll it as is Frank, originals like this are hard to come by...at least for most of us anyhow. I think you'll get more looks from true enthusiast like it is as opposed to younger enthusiast who can't get past the big shiny wheels. Just my thoughts, no offense ot anyone. NICE truck by the way!
