Re: What did you get done? 09/20

Took a 5 day weekend, finished the new shed, started prepping for new siding on the house, mowed the lawn (5" grass and too wet to drive on in spots). Oh yeah, picked up an 84 GMC 1/2 ton chassis with running 250 and TH350C. haven't decided if it's a donor for my 84 or the start of something new ..... Agreed that I will drive the minivan this winter, with the 87 diesel to get new brakes next summer.

Re: What did you get done? 09/20

I took Friday off from work, and spent about 10 hours fishing with a good friend. After cleaning up, my wife and I went to an acquaintance's birthday party. From there, we went to watch a friend's metal band play at a club. I finally got home about 3:30 a.m., almost 24 hours after getting up. I'm MUCH too old for that...

Saturday and Sunday were spent cleaning up the Ford Ranger I just bought, and cleaning up my garage. I recently brought home the bulk of my deceased father's tools, and now I'm trying to fit them into an alrerady full garage. Too much fun... It will be well worth it once everything is in place, though.

Cool Re: What did you get done? 09/20

Well started off by wetsanding my 83, then helped a friend clean her car gave her some tire juice from my shop. Got dropped off at the junkyard about 11am found some really nice window channels as well as weatherstripping and driprail moldings. While i was in the junkyard i started to wonder why so quiet, basically i lost track of time and got locked in the junkyard. I have'nt jumped over barbwire in a while but it was quite the experience.

Got home continued to wetsand taped and papered off my pearl stripe on the truck and went to bed.

Sunday finished the pearl stripe. Nice wknd all in all
