Re: Portland, Oregon area c-10 lowriders
Just schrader valves to get it going and a proper comp/tank/valves later.

Re: Portland, Oregon area c-10 lowriders
I do have a couple schrader valves and plan to put them in with the bags once my upper plates show up if I haven't found another air source. I also already have a 5 gallon tank, I just don't have $200 for a compressor. I've been debating if I should just set it all up to my tank and fill the tank from the compressor at home until I can get a 12v comp. I'm guessing that would give me about enough air, if I left my house at ride height with a full tank, to drive somewhere and dump it then air it up once to make it back home. I really have no idea, that's a total guess, but at least that way I'd be able to enjoy more than just a better ride quality.

Re: Portland, Oregon area c-10 lowriders
I ran my truck that way all last summer. Just fill and go. Have a few buddies lift up on the front and it'll inflate with less pressure too.

Re: Portland, Oregon area c-10 lowriders
was my guess pretty close? could you only dump your bags when you were somewhere that had air? it's looking like my wife may let me get a compressor after christmas so I may not have to worry about it anyhow, I probably won't have my notch done by then so I'll probably still be waiting on my notch after I finally get my compressor and rear bags.

Re: Portland, Oregon area c-10 lowriders
OK, should have the front half bagged next weekend, I have everything now I think minus a fitting or 2 maybe so +1/2 bagged NW trucks. Not 100% sure which route to take with the rear yet but it will be done before summer for sure.

Re: Portland, Oregon area c-10 lowriders
yea, it sucks cuz it's always too dark to work on the truck when I get home and it's too rainy on the weekends. I need a shop with great lighting and a bunch of tools to fill it with.

Re: Portland, Oregon area c-10 lowriders
I am working on a vacation shack out in Ocean Shores and drive by Satsop area twice a week (Fri and Sun). Sounds like it would be a fun place to gather. I would definately be interested in making it to a gathering!

Re: Portland, Oregon area c-10 lowriders
well, I would have to recommend that nobody deals with "The Drop Shop", he still owes me the upper mounting plates for my front bags which were paid for in November that i mentioned earlier in this thread. He keeps giving me BS excuses why he doesn't have them yet but I'm done trying. I ordered another set online around christmas time and got them in like 3 days and this douchebag still hasn't got me the ones he owes me and it's been 3 months. He will take any apportunity to rip you off so I would save the trip there and call one of the many other shops around that are run by honest people.

Re: Portland, Oregon area c-10 lowriders
I've heard the same about that place. Sorry to hear that. I'm up for a get-together in the spring. I'll have to roll the 64 which is not much to look at but a hell of a work-horse. She'll get her turn one day...

Re: Portland, Oregon area c-10 lowriders
I'm down with a get together also. My truck's been put away for the winter season and it's getting about time to dust her off and start driving again.

I see the sun Poking its head out. Think I am going to go take the 64 For a short spin to see if I can find anymore bugs. Hopefully the horns wont start blowing again.
