READ EVERYTHING! I'm building (very slowly) a twin turbo set up for my 468BBC and am shooting for 800rwhp. Building a turbo set up can be a pain and $$ however it's definately worth while. You can have someone build headers for you or you could weld a set up for cheap. I started by welding up my stuff but ended up buying new 304 stainless piping and one of the sponsors on the turbo site is going to weld 'em up for me (i'll have pics once completed). As for carbs, C & S, Brent Davis, or CSU can set you up - sure there not cheap but it's well worth the investment. You can also modify your carb ( holley double pumpers) see the turboforum for instructions on how to do this. I say go for it - you wont be disapointed! try to get a ride in a turbocharged V8 car or truck - something that makes power - you WILL be hooked! |

I believe that would be a supercharger. I see alot of people call a centrifugal superchargers a turbo--just trying to stop the spread of misinformation. No offense.

You need to visit the guys at MC Racing in Kansas City and talk with them for a short period. They are a dealer for the Priocharrger system out of Lenexa, Ks. I think you will like what they have to say.

yeah im abig fan of the procharger after my 95maxima... few simple bolt ons and the thing ran high 10s. my next goal is to procharge my 383 in my c10 but thats down the road a bit.. hopefully they will be cheaper by then

Procharger shows one price on the web, but when standing at MC Racing, they quote a price well below the Procharger numbers, for the same kit. Example a $4200.00 kit became $3400.00 installed for a GM truck.

Why dont you just put a 125 shot of nitrous to it?
Kit is $500 plus a bigger flow fuel pump is $100 125 hp for roughly 600 ---- hp does not got any cheaper, but use it sparingly. then do like Ken said and detail the truck to the max
