Wow that looks like it would be snakey in the summer!!! I wish he was up by me, I like buying guys out like that, its fun tearing into something like that. I've did it a couple times, one time 27 trucks another time 30 trucks and about that many trailer loads of parts. Looks like fun Geoff!!!

If he's still looking to get $600 for them, then I'm OK with the one I have That's like, almost twice what I paid for the bed

Re: Salvage yard being sold on CL....not mine...

Do you think you could talk him into selling that burb roof rack if it's in good condition? I need one for the wifes Burb and that one would be perfect! I would be glad to pay you for your time and shipping if it was in nice shape and you could mail it to me. Let me know. I'm dying here trying to get one for my wife!

Re: Salvage yard being sold on CL....not mine...

I walked these woods behind his parents house back in 03, after the spring Charlotte. It was pretty well picked over for rare parts. I took a whole day and cataloged each body for what was there. He wanted $15,000 back then for all of it, not including his brothers NOS stuff. I still have my notes and pictures.35mm.

This thread gets around

It was in the parts forum, then somehow ended up in the 47-59 forum yesterday, and here it is today in the 67-72 forum

Good Lord, can this be true ? Is he wanting someone to buy all this as a lot, or will he let us pick through and just buy pieces ? We must save this somehow, it would be heart-breaking to see a crusher pull up !
