Eighty-6: The wheels look real nice. Like the overall look on the truck.

Re: the pre st pattys what did you get done this week thread 3/15
back on thursday i got two brand new freebie 235/85/16s mounted on my dually rims in auto shop, and spent a bit of time laying in the mud putting them on the front (wouldn't it have been earlier to move it into the shed?) the new tires make the front sit a bit higher, but after sitting for 5 months i got the truck started (runs like a dream) and got it moved to higher ground
sunday i put a cd player in my Hyundai (go die?) that my brother-in-law gave me (what a hassle that was) but it beats the tape deck

Friday I pulled the broken dash out and fixed the indicator assembly. It was broken in 2 pieces. Saturday I pulled the rear tailgate apart on my newly aquired 85 K5 and inspected the window for rolling up/down, found some issues with the run channels and a problem with the cable. Luckily I bought a new one from GM Friday. After playing with the broken cable to make sure I could roll it up/down I replaced it with a the new cable and it works ok for a worn out track. At that same time I replaced the release latch that was broken and wouldn't allow you to open the gate. Sunday I pulled the front interior pieces (carpet, seats, console) out to inspect the floor to see how bad the rust was. It has some issues but I plan to fix them along with my K5 Jimmy.
