this grill would still fit a 79 correct?? the difference i believe is just the headlight surroundings and stock grill correct me if im wrong..

Nope, in addition...you will also need the 73/74 center support, latch, and outside mounting brackets.

oh alrite now i gota look for one ive been thinking of using a grill off of a74 i like the look of them, but i dont know i also like my current one. its hard to make a choice.

  on a side note....is it possible to have my original grill chromed? I don't think the local chrome shop chromes plastic....
