Re: What did you get done 2/28/10 end of olympics edition

well this weekend i finally decided to get my ass over to where im keeping my truck and start on the autometer conversion, im not doing it like the other guys are doing it but i really like the way its coming out.

and i also got a buddy of mine to get my truck running right we basically took the carb apart rebuilt it, got the truck running ok, set the timing, and then realized the carb is too small for the new heads. then i took it for a drive sitting on the floor board to the gas station to get her filled up with some new gas., damn it feels great to drive my truck again after almost a year and a half.

then did some yard work around the house.

the tires are just mismatched, i have them on til i gt the rallies back, front are 255/35/20 and back are 245/40/20, i have a pair of the eagle alloys 20x10 with 275/55/20,s and was gnna use em in back, and put the 245,s up front, but the tires were too big n hit the exhaust, and the one piece mat i have no clue, it was in the truck when i got it..

I got a rebuilt transmission for the truck and put it in. Worked on the wiring for the 4 headlight conversion and just some small tinkering. Pulled the wheels off to get them ready for some paint. I should find out by thursday if the truck will move under it's own power.

LOL i'll take that as a compliment, and i'll have some tomorro! i added the tailgate band from the 87, and putting the rallies on tomorro, it was raining way to hard today to get anything done to it, but made progress on the 87
