That looks better than factory - very nice work. You should consider shipping.

fairly easy process. go to paypal.com and register. there is a couple of verification and validation things you have to go through, but fairly easy.

Oh, yeah once you get set up I need you to help me with my dash.

Re: Anyone in Texas looked into this?

Don't forget boxes, bubble wrap, shipping labels, web page with catalogue, daily stops by UPS to pick-up our orders and a larger shop for you from all the profits!

Seriously it is good to see you made it on-board here and hope your attention to detail finds the deserved attention from others on the work you do, ajlezama. Be confident in the market you are in as you are right up there with the rest, if not above them, on producing a quality product.

I admit I knew when I saw your ad in craigs list I wasn't the only one who would be interested in those dashes. Hope to be sending an order your way soon.

Mark

Look forward to seeing you getting registered as a regular vendor here with the 'site' folk. It will be worth it!

Re: Anyone in Texas looked into this?

ajlezama it looks like your getting a great response to your product. I suggest you find a local member and sell him a dash pad. That would allow you to install it and verify how well everything fits.

From there, get ready to start taking orders. These guys have been looking for a reasonable priced alternative to what is on the market. Do you have plenty of cores to work with, or will the customer need to send you one? How fast can you turn these out and get then shipped? You will need a box that UPS or FedEx can destroy so shipping cost will need to be factored in.

Take your time and get the details sorted out, but once your done you should have a steady steam of business from this forum. Have you ever done bucket seats?

Re: Anyone in Texas looked into this?

tommorrow i will install one in a truck, and i will make sure i take plenty of pics.. the turn around depends on work.. i work out of town alot so i only get to do these on the days i dont work.. so usually a week..if what color of and type material the customer want is in stock.. as far as the core if its local i usually sell the dashes for 200 with core and 250 without.. so it would depend if they want me to cover their dash, i would let them send it to me.. thats no problem...yes i done some, as a matter of fact i have some original bucket seats that came out of a silverado, that i will be doing next.. but i will figure out how me and the fellow members are both happy..one question how would you suggest i go about shipping.. like i said before im new but i want to be fair..

Re: Anyone in Texas looked into this?

also interested in a dash- I go to houston on a regular basis( truck driver) and I want see a few pics of a dash installed. as far as shipping goes, you can put the dash in a box with some bubbles for protection and take it to any UPS store or if you going to use fedex take it to any kinkos in you area, ...
